Privacy Policy
This policy applies to Wisconsin Permit Test Prep, Android package com.seventysevencube.permitprep.wi, operated by 77 CUBE LLC. It does not replace the separate policies for our business website or other apps.
Study and driving data stay on your device
No app account is required. Scores, answers, missed questions, full-bank progress, points, badges, driving entries, study plans, an optional test date, reminder preferences and personalization are stored locally. We do not send these records to our servers, advertisers, schools or the purchase provider. We do not request your name, date of birth, contacts or precise location for studying or drive tracking. Enter driving sessions only when parked; the app does not track a journey.
There is no app-managed cloud backup or sync, and Android app backup is disabled. Uninstalling or clearing app storage can erase these records. Restoring Premium restores purchased access, not study or driving data.
Optional feedback
When you submit feedback, the app sends your category, message, optional reply email and app/category subject to Formspree over HTTPS for delivery to our team. No study history, drives or device logs are attached. Formspree also receives network information, such as your IP address, needed to process and protect the form. A reply email is optional. You can use the app without submitting feedback.
Submissions are stored in Formspree and delivered to our mailbox while we handle your request. We delete the feedback message and optional reply email from Formspree and our support mailbox within 90 days after the support case is resolved. You can request earlier deletion. Unsent drafts are held only on screen and are discarded when you leave the form. Please do not send passwords, payment details, identifying information about other people or other sensitive details.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free app integrates Google AdMob banners on overview tabs and occasional full-screen advertisements between completed practice sessions. Full-screen ads are limited to five per app installation per day, at least five minutes apart, and only after every third completed session. The local counter survives restart but not reinstalling or clearing app data; an additional AdMob frequency cap is configured. Ads that are not ready are skipped, never shown late in a new activity. They do not appear within questions or driving-entry forms. Verified Premium access removes advertisements. Internal test builds use Google test advertisements, which do not earn revenue.
Ad requests are non-personalized and use conservative teen treatment and general-audience content filtering. Non-personalized does not mean no data processing: Google may process IP addresses, device and app information, device identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics and approximate location derived from network information to deliver, measure and protect ads. The app removes Android advertising-ID, Topics and advertising-attribution permissions. That does not prevent all technical identifiers or network information from being processed.
Live advertising checks consent requirements before requesting ads. Where applicable, Google's User Messaging Platform provides privacy choices. You can use More → Ad privacy choices to manage available choices. If advertising cannot be prepared safely, study remains available without an advertisement. We do not attach your study, driving or feedback records to ad requests.
Premium purchases and restoration
Premium is a one-time Google Play purchase, not a subscription. Google Play provides checkout, pricing and payment handling. We do not receive card or bank details. RevenueCat verifies purchases, maintains purchased access and supports restoration using the Google Play account that made the purchase. It generates an anonymous app user identifier even if you do not buy Premium and processes that identifier, purchase history, receipts and normal app/device/network information for purchase functionality and purchase reporting.
No student name, birth date, study answers or driving entries are sent to RevenueCat. Optional SDK diagnostics and advertising-attribution identifier collection are disabled. Purchase records are separate from local study data; uninstalling or clearing app storage does not delete Google Play orders or RevenueCat records. Refunds and revoked purchases may remove Premium access after the providers update purchase status.
Optional app review access
Authorized app reviewers can enter a private reusable code to inspect Premium features without paying. Only when this option is used, the code and the existing anonymous RevenueCat app identifier are sent to our 77cube.dev server over HTTPS. The server verifies the code and requests a complimentary review entitlement from RevenueCat. No email, study answers or driving entries are sent, and the code is not stored on the device. This does not create an app account or modify real purchases.
Our hosting processes normal network information to deliver and protect requests. For valid-code requests, we store limited abuse-prevention counters using a hash of the anonymous identifier, time window and count, not the code, raw identifier, email or IP address. Expired counters are pruned on subsequent valid requests after one day; dormant expired counters may remain until cleanup. RevenueCat retains the anonymous identifier and complimentary-access record under its retention practices. Review access can be revoked independently of paid access.
Reminders and external links
Reminders are local and off until you opt in. Android notification permission is requested only when you save enabled reminders. Official resource and Google Play links open outside the app; those services process information under their own policies. School referrals and school tracking are disabled in this release. There is no app-managed advertising attribution, analytics account or location service.
Retention, deletion and support
Local data remains on your device until removed through the app or device settings. We delete feedback messages and optional reply emails from Formspree and our support mailbox within 90 days after the support case is resolved, or earlier following a verified deletion request. This is our support-record policy, not a promise that every provider automatically deletes all technical or security records within 90 days. Purchase records are separate and may be retained for verification, restoration, fraud prevention and required financial records; providers also apply their own retention practices.
For a feedback or purchase-data privacy request, use Send feedback in the app or email contact@77cube.dev. Include enough non-sensitive detail to identify your request, not card details or passwords. We may need to verify a request before accessing an anonymous purchase record. Deleting such a record may affect restoration. Google Play handles payment-account and order requests under its own policies. Deletion requests can be made without creating an app account.
Teen audience and provider information
The app is intended for Wisconsin permit learners ages 15–17 and adults, not children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If a child submits information, contact us to request its removal. Parents can contact us about privacy concerns.
Providers may process information outside your country under their own safeguards and policies. We may update this policy when app behavior changes; the revised date will appear here. The app is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WisDOT or the Wisconsin DMV.
